'Kay. Let's say your BFF and you are on the basketball team in middle school. The other members tell him that if he rapes you, he can play in the game or whatever. He does so. Years later, when you see him again in high school, he brings up the incident and you get upset. He then tells you "So I screwed you up! But surely you're blowing this out of proportion!"

:iconwutplz:

Kids, rape is bad. Don't do it. If you do, don't be surprised if the rape victim is upset at seeing you again. Just be glad that he didn't call the police on your rapist ass.

(I know that the whole point of yaoi is rape=love and that at the end of the manga, it'll be revealed that the BFF didn't do it out of gain in the team but because he   LuVs~~~  him and that that the uke enjoyed it so it's okay~~~~~~~~.  )

((WUT. Ten pages later in the manga, he's glad that the incident took place because it made him realize his   :heart:  :heart:   true feelings   :heart:   for the other dood. Just.... No... I knew I was gonig to be right, but it's still depressing...))

(((And there's another yaoi manga, with like, seven-year-olds. And there's sex scenes in it... I.. I cried a little in my heart. I exited as soon as I saw the pants coming off.)))

((((And there's so much yaois with rape in it where the victim falls in love with the rapist because of the amazing power of love-- but mainly stockholm syndrome.
Google it bitches.))))

(((((Yaoi is like Twilight, but with less ghey. ; A; )))))

I swear to God, all I searched for was Cogsworth

I dunno if any of my friends (and by that, I mean Kaitlyn) even uses devart anymore.; w; Oh wells.

I'm bouncing around a story idea in my head. It'd be a, crudely speaking, gay fiction novel. (Yaoi doesn't seem to be the right term for it, seeing as how it has nothing to do with anime, manga, or desu.) The time period is in the late eighteen-hundreds or early nineteen-hundreds and it's set in Hawaii, after the Masters and Servants Act came around. So then Guy One comes to Hawaii under the M&SA from Japan/China, excepting to work in the fields harvesting sugarcane and stuff. Wro-ong. The guy that he's employed under is gaaaay (-enter sparkly rainbows here-) and has quite different plans for him. Beyond that, I'm not really sure what should happen; Hell, I'm thinking of fiddling around with what I have so far. Some ideas I have are:

1. Both realize they are gay and have hot man smex from the start (Jesus Christ, I don't want to do this.)
2. Only Guy Two knows he's gay and forces himself onto Guy One (A little cliche.)
3. Only Guy One knows he's gay and falls in love with Guy Two (How will the story progress? The Servant can't very well force himself onto the Master... Or can he? But anyways, that just contradicts the idea I had in my head from the start.)

Of the three, I like the last two the most. But the both have problems, which I stated already. The last one is a bit more original but it ruins the basis upon which I created the story. The second is unoriginal, but it makes the story flow a lot better and easier. x___x (Another idea floating around is to change Guy One into Girl One. It could work... But then wtf will happen in the story?)

The rest of the story depends on my research. I'm not really sure how gays were received in the 18oos in Hawaii-- I'm guessing they had just as warm of a welcome they have today, though. I don't know how to research this, since I don't quite think I'll find the information in my local library. >__<

I got this idea from, obviously, my Social Studies class. Mr. Fukufish kept repeating "... and the laborers had to do whatever their employers wanted..." over andf over and over. It was all I could do to keep from shouting, "Even take it up the butt?!"

I have a scene already in my head that I'm going to put in no matter which option I go with. I'm debating putting it up here, but it seems useless if no one's reading this. :< (Kaitlyn~~~ you there~~~~?)

Oh well, continuing on, remember Diana and co.? Well, the story they're in has changed in my head so fucking much. Diana is now going to take over the fucking world, Joshua's a slightly sleazy sidekick... And the rest are pretty much the same. But just changing Diana's and Joshua's personality altered the story. Diana's now a vampire with a holyshitwtfbbq power and she manipulates her friends into feeding her more power. Joshua... Well, on the outside he's still the same; he still acts the same and shit. I just changed his "inner" personality. I don't want to delve too much into that, though. -too lazy- The rest of the cast are, for the most part, dead/severely injured at the end of the story. Wow. The last line in the story (if I ever get around to writing it) will be, "'Come on Joshua, let's go conquer the world.'" Though the exact words may change a bit, the general meaning will be the same.

I was reading through one of my old character quizzes and... Whaaaat? I don't remember any of this. "Varde: I am a perfect specimen of the male species. Look at this face! oh, and this body! I am nothing but perfection itself!" XDDDD Holy crap. la Varde, ILU. One way or another, I'll squeeze you into a story or make a new one for you~~. I wanna do more character quizzes with him~.

Also: First post of a Hell of a long time.

Also Also: Kaaaaitlyyyyn, since you're the only one likely to read this (and there's not too much of a chance for that either) please teeeeext me about this, kaaaaaaay?

tl;dr entry. You've been warned.

Twilight vs. Harry Potter

Since I'm extremely bored and tired at the moment, I've decided to compare Twilight and HP to see which one is the better series... In my opinion. I'm not about to go digging through ten books to warrant my opinions, so this is all off the top of my head; the facts may or may not be entirely true. o_o

First of all, I think HP is the better series.Let's see, it has better characters, way more plot, less "wtf"-ness-- need I go on? But let me explain in greater detail.

Harry Potter > Bella.
Bella, as a whole, didn't leave that much of an impression on me, despite that the story is told from her point of view. All I got from her, really, was "I'm a Mary-Sue! :'DDDD Everyone loves me and thinks I'm hot and I'm in this love triangle with a werewolf and a vampire and although I really love the vampire, I decided to lead on the werew"-- no.
She seemed promising in the beginning, when I learned she was an albino, but then I continued on to read: "In certain lights, my skin shines" or whatever.... Seriously?! Let me go check wikipedia, but last I heard, Albinos don't fucking glitter or shine or whatever the fuck she does. They stay pale and white. Nothing more, nothing less.
And how many people/species fall in love with her? There's that dorky guy; the jock; the guy that almost killed her; Jacob; and lastly, Edward. I probably missed a few too. Edward says later on in the first book, "On the first day of school, do you know how many guys wanted to fuck you?" Not with that exact wording of course, but you catch my drift. Bottom line: a shitload of guys were in love with her. Mm-hm, that's definitely not the makings of a Mary-Sue.
She always has to be saved by one of her love interests: Edward saved her countless times and I'm sure Jacob saved her quite a bit too. I just can't remember any instances because I try to block out New Moon.
Speaking of New Moon, reading the summary on wikipedia makes it sound interesting. It wasn't. It might've just been me, but wading through the "BAAAAAAAAAW HE LEFT ME -cutcut-" was a tad boring.

Harry on the other hand, is a lot more believable as a character. Maybe not so much in the beginning of the series, but towards the ending-- yeah. He goes through stages, like every teen does. The angsty, No-one-understands-me stage, the stage where you finally take notice of the opposite sex, etc. Whereas Bella goes through two stages: Happy-Happy-Joy-joy I Love Edward stage and the emo He Left Me stage. Really diverse.
To be fair, there's seven HP books and only three TL books, but TL is told through first-person, making character development easier... Or at least, in most cases it would.
I'll admit that HP is sterotypical too at times, but not nearly as much as TL is. They both have the new kid at school starting plots-- but Harry Potter takes that and runs with it. Twilight goes off on a completely different tangent.

Meh. I'll continue this later. I've got other things to do at the moment.

edit: Continue'd.

The side characters (everyone besides THE main character) in HP > TL. Hagrid is a rough but lovable giant, Lupin is a lolomfggheysexybbq werewolf, Sirius is.... Sirius, and the way that Hermione and Ron interact is great.
Let's see.. TL has Jacob, who, I admit, is a pretty good character but still a tad unoriginal, Jessica is the friend-turned-bitch that is a must-have in every romance novel to make the reader feel sympathetic to the heroine, Alice was in an insane asylum but is still happy and cheery and peppy, Edward is a sparkly vampire. 'Nuff said.
As said before, you have more time to get used to the characters in HP than TL, but still... In three books, I learned that Edward is the embodiment of angsty love --hold the hormones--, Jacob wants to have werewolf babies with Bella, and Charlie is a fucking dumbass.
While in the first three books of HP, I learned: Ron is a obstinate, loyal, immature kid who's afraid of spiders, Hermione is a know-it-all, etc. etc. (I don't really feel like going on about that, since I haven't slept for almost a day.)

Plot.. Ah, what I've been itching to get at.
TL: Girl meets vampire, falls in love, flirts, almost dies, vampire goes rabid then leaves, girl misses vampire, girl cuts, girl meets werewolf, girl goes insane, girl almost gets killed multiple times, girl falls in lust? motherly affection? with werewolf, girl stops vampire from killing itself, girl and vampire are together again, girl and vampire kill female vampire, girl has to turn into a vampire or the end of the world will come or something.
HP: Boy learns he's a wizard, boy gets two friends, boy learns about Voldemort his arch-nemesis, boy almost kinda kills Volde, Potions teacher dies, boy forcefully discovers if he uses magic outside of school bricks will be shat, boy meets house elf... Please tell me that you get the point.
Anyways, JK Rowling has so many plot twists that we should've saw coming but we were too busy searching for clues in the wrong places. Meyers... Well, the only plot twist I can think of is that Victoria came back or something. And that's not much of a twist, imo.

And that's all I want to write. ò_ó
